2017 changed the face of American politics and American life. The days since have often felt like a series of cruel blows, steps backward to an America I don't recognize. To an America I didn't want to believe still existed so strongly in the shadows.
But 2017 also ignited a fierce spirit, in me and so many others. 2017 was the start of a good fight. And I'm ready.
